I recently (a few months ago is recent, right?) had the pleasure of designing wedding invitations for two high school friends. They wanted formal, traditional, “more Hamptons than Poconos.” I had really been looking forward to designing something clever and fun, so initially I was a bit discouraged by the request. In the end, I was actually quite pleased with how they turned out and was able to a) write off the purchase of Miss Fajardose from Sudtipos (!!!), b) draw some fun swashes (!!!), and c) work with my friend Ryan of SomethingPressed on the printing of the cards (!!!). He did a great job, and the bride and groom loved them.
