As my first real try at caricature, illustration, what have you, I’m so proud to have designed this poster for the Hopscotch POSTERscotch contest. I’d love to print it, even if it doesn’t win. Here’s a look at the final poster and how I got there. SLOWLY.
Well this has just been the longest few weeks of my life! But I’m so happy to say that I’m finally ready to submit my two designs for the Hopscotch and Amplified Art POSTERscotch contest. I’ve been wanting to dabble in some illustration for a long time, and since I’ve been almost exclusively listening to [...]
This will probably be the first, last, and only peek I sneak at process work for a Hopscotch Music Festival poster I’m working on. It’s going to be pretty illustration heavy, which is terrifying to me. Here’s the type so far. Wish me luck!
Look what I found today! I have no recollection of drawing this, but I kind of like it? Maybe I’ve been watching too much Glee, and I just can’t help but seeing everything in lights now. There might be a place for this in a future project… Yes, I think so!

Whew! Just finished designing the poster and postcard for the Winter 2010 Rock and Shop Market. I LOVE LOVE LOVED the research component of this project and still feel like I could spend hours/days/months/years/lifetimes looking at neon signs. The posters and postcards will only be printed digitally for the event, but if I can manage [...]
